Henriqueta

I go by Quety (keh-tee) or Kathy.

I’m a designer and visual storyteller with over 14 years of experience specializing in brand identity, digital design, and editorial work. Born in Praia, Cabo Verde, and raised in Boston, my heritage and the city’s diverse culture have deeply influenced my creative perspective. My passion for design began at age 10 when my parents enrolled me in a creative writing and design program, which led me to teach myself HTML and design softwares like Jasc Paintshop Pro at 12. That early curiosity sparked a lifelong love for visual storytelling that’s rooted in real-life experiences and the everyday needs of people.

Professionally, I’ve worked both in-house and as a freelance creative. At CVS Health, I conceptualize and design for national campaigns across wellness, beauty, and seasonal retail, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring impactful concepts to life. As a freelancer, I partner with small businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations, crafting branding, websites, and campaigns that are authentic, intentional, and tell meaningful stories. Outside of work, I’m a proud mom to two toddlers, a plant enthusiast, and someone who finds strength and grounding in spirituality, gratitude, and authenticity.
