Hi, I’m Henriqueta.
I go by Quety (keh-tee) or Kathy.

I was born in Praia, Cabo Verde, and my family immigrated to Boston when I was four years old. Growing up as the youngest of three siblings, I embraced the richness of my Cabo Verdean heritage and the diverse influences of Boston.

At 12, I began a self-taught journey into design, inspired by a summer computer class. This passion became a driving force in my life, leading me to flourish as a graphic designer and art director with a decade of experience. My focus is on crafting simple, intuitive, and customer-centric designs that enhance the user experience.

Being a mother to two beautiful children is my most cherished role, teaching me the importance of gratitude, spirituality, and culture.

The intersection of cultures profoundly influences my perspective and design approach. I blend diverse influences harmoniously in my work to create designs that resonate with people from various backgrounds. Design has the power to bridge gaps, inspire connections, and celebrate our shared humanity.

Gratitude, spirituality, and culture remain vital in my life, guiding me to appreciate life's blessings, seek spiritual growth, and honor diverse cultures. Through design, I aim to make a positive impact, bringing simplicity, beauty, and customer-centric solutions to others' lives.
